This website was created in April of 2023 by two individuals named Ryan and Matt. Both attend Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania and have a strong interest in physical fitness/wellness. Ryan studies finance and economics while Matt studies sports management. Individual descriptions and experiences written by each creator can be found below.

Our mission

  • Both creators have heavy interest in mental and physical wellness and we want to share this with as many people as possible. We want to maximize the number of people that prioritize protecting their mind and body.

My name is Ryan, I am from a small town called Saint Marys located in Pennsylvania. I am 18 years old and have an extreme interest in business as well as physical & mental fitness. By the time I graduate I hope to earn two degrees in finance and economics along with a minor in marketing. I have looked into digital marketing since I was 16, and I am excited to capitalize on a strategy to help as many possible in encouraging a healthy lifestyle.

My name is Matt, I am from Long Island New York and I am 19 years old. Fitness and bettering ones mental health is a very important passion of mine. By the time I graduate I plan on having a degree in sports management while minoring in marketing. I have always wanted to help run a website and to have the opportunity to connect others to my passion of physical fitness and good mental health is a dream come true

Growing up I was very unhealthy, I would not exercise, and I would never eat right. In my experience, I had to deal with being very overweight my whole middle through high school career and my mental health for sure had taken a toll because of this. My first semester of my freshmen year I finally decided to protect my mind and body and get into shape. I started off with cardio, then slowly transitioned to weight training and it has made all the difference. I have lost over 80 pounds while also building muscle mass and I have learned not only how to get in shape, but how to stay in shape. I can't wait to continue to protect my mind and body on this fitness journey, and I can't wait for you to join me.

I played basketball for my entire life and I would consider it my number one hobby. In my experience, I have been through multiple injuries where I believed there was no solution in sight. I have only started weight training around the beginning of 2023 (which has helped immensely), so I am relatively new and still learning a lot. Along this journey, I have gained tremendous knowledge regarding injury prevention, and I can't wait to share these tips and tricks with everyone.
